In Memoriam

Steven Lepisto

From "Reflections on a Gift of Watermelon Pickle
Received from a Friend Called Felicity"

But in a jar put up by Felicity,

The summer which maybe never was

Has been captured and preserved.

And when we unscrew the lid

And slice off a piece

And let it linger on our tongue:

Unicorns become possible again.

— John Tobias

In Memoriam

Alan Spradlin
Splash Into the Water

Splash into the water
The water is warm
Brilliant light rays
Hit far from above
Then bounce off
The coral below,
The fish are calm
I will spend my life
In water so silent.

— Alan Spradlin

This is a list of business establishments which bought advertising space in the book-
let the yearbook published in December. The booklet contained all the advertisements
that normally appear in yearbooks, with additional information about the school. Since the
booklet was delivered to the home of every student of Norwell High the goodwill of
these people could be exposed to a greater number of people than if their ads ap-
peared in the yearbook. The staff was then free to put all the pages normally allotted
to ads to better use. In the staff's opinion the booklet was no artistic triumph, but
it was the first time anything of this sort was attempted. We hope future staff can perfect

this approach to yearbook ads.
